Presentation Synopsis
This educational presentation by the Opioid Remediation Collaborative (ORCNM) prepares volunteer first responders to recognize, assess, and respond to substance-related emergencies. Using real-life scenarios, it emphasizes safety, clinical judgment, and the need for appropriate medical escalation when encountering individuals with suspected overdose, intoxication, or withdrawal.
