Overview
On June 21, 2025, the Opioid Remediation Collaborative (ORC) attended the Catron County Health Fair held at the Quemado Senior Center in Quemado, NM. This local event provided a welcoming space for community members to receive free breakfast and access essential health screenings, including mammograms. ORC used the opportunity to distribute educational materials and connect residents to treatment and prevention resources. The event served as a valuable platform for raising awareness about the opioid crisis in a rural setting with limited healthcare access.
