Overview

On October 14, 2025, the Opioid Remediation Collaborative of New Mexico (ORCNM) had the opportunity to present updates at the Socorro County Commissioner meeting, highlighting ongoing regional efforts and celebrating Socorro County’s leadership in advancing health outcomes for residents affected by substance use.

This year, ORCNM is proud to support two priority strategies identified by Socorro County:

  1. Advancing evidence-based treatment and prevention efforts within the county’s Detention Center, designed to support recovery and reduce recidivism.

  2. Enhancing county-level triage systems for individuals experiencing behavioral health and substance use challenges, helping ensure timely, effective, and compassionate care.

ORCNM extends sincere gratitude to the Commissioners and the Socorro County community for their commitment to collaborative solutions and for driving meaningful change across the region.
