Overview

On March 31, 2026, the Opioid Remediation Collaborative of New Mexico (ORCNM) convened a Stakeholder Meeting at the Village of Los Lunas Council Chambers, bringing together local leaders, service providers, and community organizations.

The session provided a comprehensive update on the opioid epidemic at both the national and state level, along with an overview of how opioid remediation funds can be used to support meaningful, evidence-based solutions. ORCNM also shared updates on initiatives currently active in the region.

A key component of the meeting was a facilitated discussion focused on Los Lunas-specific needs, where participants identified priority areas for prevention and treatment. These insights will directly inform ORCNM’s next phase of planning and investment in the community.

This collaborative session strengthened partnerships across sectors and ensured that future efforts are aligned with local priorities, ultimately supporting more effective and sustainable outcomes for residents of Los Lunas.
