Overview
On July 25, 2026, the Opioid Remediation Collaborative of New Mexico (ORCNM) participated in the Celebrate Hidalgo Health Fair in Lordsburg, New Mexico. The event brought together healthcare providers, community organizations, and local families to improve access to health services and promote overall community wellness.
Residents had the opportunity to receive mobile health and dental care services, along with valuable health and wellness information designed to encourage healthier lifestyles. The event also featured lunch, live music, and family-friendly activities that created a welcoming environment for community engagement.
As part of the celebration, donated prizes—including bicycles and other healthy lifestyle incentives—were distributed to local children, encouraging physical activity and healthy habits. ORCNM was proud to support this community event and connect residents with resources that promote prevention, wellness, and long-term health.
ORCNM extends its appreciation to Hidalgo County and all community partners whose collaboration made this event a success. Together, we continue building healthier, more resilient communities across rural New Mexico.
