Overview
On March 14 and 15, 2025, the Opioid Remediation Collaborative (ORC) hosted a Fentanyl Awareness Event at the Grants Recreational Center in Cibola County. This two-day event brought together community members, healthcare professionals, and local leaders to address the growing concerns surrounding fentanyl use and its impact on the community.
The event featured expert panel discussions, hands-on training sessions, and informative presentations aimed at educating attendees about the dangers of fentanyl, prevention strategies, and available resources for those affected by opioid use disorder. Participants engaged in meaningful dialogues, shared personal experiences, and collaborated on actionable solutions to combat the opioid crisis in their community.
