Overview
On November 20, 2024, the Opioid Remediation Collaborative (ORC) provided an update on opioid settlement funds to the Legislative Health & Human Services Committee. This presentation was a collaborative effort involving community partners, including representatives from various counties and cities, as well as public health organizations.
The group had been meeting regularly to foster a learning community focused on opioid remediation initiatives. During the session, they emphasized the importance of keeping the committee informed about ongoing efforts and shared updates on projects aimed at enhancing prevention and treatment strategies across New Mexico. The committee welcomed the updates and invited continued reporting on progress in these critical areas.
